From implementing flexible work arrangements to providing robust professional development opportunities, these employers are committed to empowering and advancing women in STEM careers. 

These are the organisations that are setting the standard for excellence in workplace culture and gender equity, and inspiring others to do the same.

  • Workplace culture: The applicant should demonstrate a positive and inclusive workplace culture that supports women's advancement, such as offering flexible work arrangements, providing professional development opportunities, or promoting work-life balance. In turn, achieving high employee satisfaction and retention rates (250 words max) – 25 points

  • Diversity and inclusion: The applicant should demonstrate a commitment to diversity and inclusion in their hiring, retention, and promotion practices, such as implementing bias-free hiring, promoting pay equity, or providing leadership opportunities for women. (250 words max) – 25 points
  • Give any other reasons why you/they should be chosen as the 2023 STEM Employer of the Year (250 words max) - 25 points
